    The Poliano line is made up of the Docs, Montepulciano D’Abruzzo and Trebbiano D’Abruzzo, which takes its name from the historic area from which the Duke Raone came that in the 11th century built the Swabian tower, symbol of our company.

    Fresh and fruity wine, 100% Montepulciano D’Abruzzo, comes from a late harvest of carefully selected grapes, vinified without any addition of sulphites. The resulting wine is aged for a short period in steel, about 2 months and then in the bottle for at least 3 months.

    VINIFICATION
    Alcoholic fermentation on the skins by natural yeasts, in steel. Shortly afterwards malolactic fermentation takes place due to the lactic acid bacteria naturally present in the wine.

    VISUAL INSPECTION
    Ruby red purple, with violet reflections, consistent.

    FLAVOR
    Intense, persistent and fine, intense and pleasing aromas of blackberry, black cherry, black currant and dried flowers like violet.

    TASTE CHARACTERISTICS
    Warm, dry, savory and quite soft, well balanced and persistent. Accompanies first courses with sauce, red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
