Organic grapes
The estate is located in Loreto Aprutino, at 350 meters above sea level, in Contrada Passo Cordone, at the foot of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
It spans 36 hectares, and from the original 12 hectares of vineyards, the estate has grown to 30 hectares dedicated to wine grape production, certified organic since 1997, the same year Luciano acquired the estate.
Of these, 5 hectares consist of old pergola-trained vineyards planted by the previous owners back in 1969.
Organic wines
Since 2006, the old barn has been converted into a winery, and the former stable into a warehouse. From that very harvest, the estate began vinifying its grapes and selling the organic wines produced from them.

The History
Within the estate stands a fortification that dominates the surrounding area: Torre Raone, named in honor of Raone da Poliano, who commissioned its construction in the 11th century.
At that time, Loreto Aprutino was under Norman rule. In fact, Raone da Poliano was a descendant of Tancred, Duke of Normandy, and the owner of a small fief in Hauteville, on the English Channel.
Obsessive care for quality
The winery, built in 2006, is the place where only the grapes grown on the estate are transformed into wine and bottled.
The obsessive care of the grapes in the vineyards is the first step toward a wine of the highest quality. The second step takes place in the winery, where these grapes are handled with the utmost delicacy to preserve their distinctive characteristics, enhancing a unique and unmistakable terroir.
